It was 2007 and, in my opinion, a time of too much information imparted by mass emails to people who really weren't interested in those opinions. So I asked Margaret Evans, editor and owner of Lowcountry Weekly, if she might like to lighten things up a bit with an etiquette column in her paper She said “yes” if I wanted to write it, and for the next ten years, I did. There is lots of humor, tongue in cheek advice, and some real honest to goodness channeling of Emily Post — to whom I owe a debt of gratitude.
